PURPLE SAGE--- Sound & Touch Therapy
REIKI (ray-key)
Reiki is an ancient “laying on of the hands ” healing technique that uses life force or Universal energy to heal and balance the energies in our body. It is physical as well as emotional, mental and spiritual. It is from an old Japanese healing technique, originating from ancient Buddhist teachings. REIKI means Universal life energy.

The practitioner serves as a vessel or channel, supplying those healing energies to flow through to wherever needed in the recipient's body, whether using physical contact or using the distant healing method. In distant healings, I use a picture or person's name as the focus point.
A treatment opens and aligns all the major energy centers, allowing the energy to flow thru and allowing our body, mind and spirit to heal. The practitioner is trained to use Japanese “symbols”to work with for the healings. These are either done in the practitioner's mind or drawn with their hands over the receiver or in the air.
Reiki cannot always physically heal everyone, but does make a difference on other levels, whether mental, emotional, or spiritual, and is especially helpful with the terminally ill as it can make their transition easier and more comfortable, as well as acceptable.
A person does not have to believe in Reiki in order for it to work, but does have to have the sincere intent to want to be healed.
Reiki can: Accelerate healing, decrease pain, reduce stress, improve sleep, reduce side effects of chemo and radiation, remove emotional blockages, improve mental health and well-being, and so much more.
